Antti Ervasti

About me

“Antti provided in depth information on compulsive sexual behavior, trauma development, and stabilizing a trauma client in session. He lead the presentation with a professional and engaging demeanor. He provided handouts and activities that the professionals in the audience could utilize following the workshop. I would gladly have Antti come back to give another workshop for my therapist team.”

Michael Nevans Director of Clinical Services, TELL Japan, Tokyo

(continues…) At all times I have found him to be reliable, serious about his tasks, able to finish his task in a co-operative but also independent way, to be critical about his tasks and was always able to keep his promises. He showed to be a good team worker, has good communication- and language skills, and last but not least, Antti has proven to be a very nice person to work with.”

About me

Each therapist is different and has his or her own personal way of working. Each client is also different. Everybody is welcome to see me either alone, with a partner or with a family member. During the first meeting we identify together the client’s/clients’ goals, biggest problems and the methods to resolve them. It is vital that each client is heard as an individual and as an equal partner in a relationship.

I am a licensed and registered psychotherapist and a Specialist in Sexological Counselling (Nordic Association of Clinical Sexology) from Finland. I have also studied the basic and advanced studies in emotionally focused couples therapy (EFT) and I have studied actively various trauma related topics.

I have an extensive professional work experience in the field of couples therapy, family therapy, sexual therapy, sexual education, lecturing and training.

Clinical supervision and consultation

If you need to contemplate any questions, challenges or possible problems related to your work, clinical supervision might be useful to you or your work community.

During clinical supervision you will ponder your work and your role at work and the feelings and emotions arising from your work. The work and the functionality of the work community are also being assessed and developed.

Clinical supervision is confidential. It is based on interaction and on the clarification and strengthening of the supervisee’s own thoughts, ideas and resources.

Clinical supervision has positive effects. The supervisee’s job duties and professional identity are clarified, his or her work motivation increases and he or she will cope much better at work. Clinical supervision can be individual, team or work community supervision.
